About
Thank you for visiting! Michelle named her site Edelle, a combination of her family's names. As a child, she had a passion for drawing and often got in trouble at school for transforming letters and numbers into dinosaurs and animals. Although she dreamed of becoming an artist, the adults around her advised against it, leading her to explore other career paths after college. Nevertheless, art continually resurfaced in her life. Michelle has done volunteer work as an art teacher in Nicaragua and Honduras and as a Special Education teacher in the U.S. where she used art to help enhance student learning experiences. During the Covid pandemic, she created hand-drawn and digital portraits as gifts, and witnessed the happiness they brought to others. She has been commissioned to work on projects for preschools in San Francisco, the San Francisco Department of Public Health, and the city of Hillsboro, Oregon. Michelle believes art is a beautiful way to show love and spread positivity. She welcomes ideas and inquiries for collaboration to help bring a smile to you and others.
